Pizza
Pizza is a very tasty meal, one of my go-to's! Let's make it extra cheesy!
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc.)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Prepare the pizza dough by mixing flour, water, yeast, and salt. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly over the base.
- Add shredded mozzarella cheese and your choice of toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
